Provinces are divisions within the country. South Africa is divided into nine different provinces. They include Western Cape, Northern Cape, Eastern Cape, North-West, Orange Free State, Natal, Eastern Transvaal, Northern Transvaal. The climates of South Africa are displayed in the variety of colors. The desert is mostly located in the northeastern part of South Africa. The Mediterranean is in the South West region of the country and the semi arid plateau takes up most of the western side of the country. The moderate eastern plateau is most of the eastern side of the country. These climate region are the most common regions throughout the country
Rainfall is a very important asset to the daily life of South African citizens. If there is not a lot of rain, the agriculture will suffer. Also, most people's jobs rely on how much precipitation falls.
